A new world is emerging before our eyes.
Every day the millennial generation is exerting a growing influence over humanity’s collective direction.
The world being handed to this generation is one full of risks and opportunities. Climate change is upon us, ecological crisis, technological revolution, social change, budget deficit. It’s a full plate, and some may say an unfair burden.
Much has been written in jest about them, but don’t believe the rumors: the millennial generation is going to change everything in the years ahead. This generation has shown tremendous resilience in the face of poverty, uncertainty, anxiety and ceaseless change.
I have no doubt that we are up to the task of building the new world and carrying humanity through the gauntlet it now faces. Ask yourself what choice do we have?
The race is on to understand what direction the millennials’ are going to take humanity in the years ahead.
I am the earliest of the millennial generation, and among the first to reach the age of political engagement, and government involvement. I have been at the forefront of my cohort’s political evolution over the past 20 years. I have dedicated my life to understanding what awaits us beyond the horizon, and how to adapt to that world.
The new world is ours to create and create we must. This will require both creation and destruction to achieve.
